The Challenge: The original door was drafty, difficult to lock, and the wood was beginning to rot at the threshold.
The Speaks Solution: We installed a ProVia Signet® Fiberglass “Statement Door” in Salisbury ,NC. Because we are Licensed General Contractors, we completely rebuilt the rotted subfloor and header before setting the new unit.

Fiberglass (Signet or Ascent) gives you the most authentic wood look and best dent/scratch resistance. Steel (Legacy) gives you 49% more material than consumer-grade doors for maximum security at the most accessible price. Both are foam-filled, ENERGY STAR certified, with lifetime warranties.
Signet is top-of-the-line: widest woodgrain range, DuraFuse™ 15-year finish, 4-1/4” dovetailed hardwood stile. Ascent is the newest collection: White Oak or Smooth finish, thick fiberglass, 10- year finish warranty. Ascent delivers fiberglass quality at a more accessible price.
ProVia discontinued Heritage and replaced it with Ascent. Ascent is a significant upgrade: manufacturing brought fully in-house, thicker fiberglass skin, dowel-pinned corners, modernized designs. If you were considering Heritage, Ascent is its direct replacement — and a better door.
Every ProVia door is designed around security. Legacy uses 20-gauge galvanized steel with a reinforced lock block. Signet features a continuous 4-1/4” hardwood strike stile. Ascent uses 2- 1/2” wood stiles with dowel-pinned construction. All support multi-point locking hardware and premium deadbolts.
